Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN is seeking a Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR/CNA) for a part-time, 0.6 FTE night shift to support patient care on the Med/Surg unit.

You will assist with meals, personal care, and recovery, stock supplies, operate equipment, and collaborate with RNs to ensure safety and comfort. Minimum BLS; MN CNA registry active or in nursing program.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire (on-site training provided).
• Active registration with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry within 1 year of hire (on-site preparation provided if needed) OR enrolled in a nursing program.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Registered Nursing Assistant-Hospital (NAR/CNA)

As a Registered Nursing Assistant, you will collaborate closely with Registered Nurses to deliver critical direct care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role involves tasks such as assisting with patient meals, providing personal care, and helping patients in their recovery from various health conditions. Challenges include managing a variety of patient needs and adapting to changing priorities swiftly. You will also handle operational tasks like stocking supplies and operating healthcare equipment, demonstrating precision and care. This position demands a high level of alertness and responsiveness, especially when dealing with emergency situations.
