Job summary

The role includes training, mentoring, and ongoing education for new hires and current staff to ensure high-quality care and compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care with physicians and pharmacies, maintaining medical records, and developing individualized healthcare plans.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Training or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the medical needs of individuals served.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Monitor for changes in health status and respond appropriately.
• Conduct medication administration and health-related trainings.
• Train and mentor new employees during orientation.
• Provide ongoing education and competency assessments for current staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in quality assurance and health-related program initiatives.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities (phone support only).
