Job summary

FMOL Health in Louisiana is seeking an LPN to provide patient care following established standards and practices, assist physicians, nurses and staff with daily coordination of patient care and access, and help manage patient flow, appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.

This role may serve as a preceptor, works under general supervision, may lead others within scope of practice, and includes a $2000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN in Louisiana or work permit and BLS certification.
• Proficient in English with verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computers for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care using the nursing process under supervision.
• Assist physicians, nurses and staff with daily coordination of patient care and access.
• Coordinate patient flow, schedules, procedures, tests and referrals.
• Provide compassionate basic nursing care while maintaining patient privacy.
