Responsibilities

• Triage calls and determine appropriate medical decision making.
• Assist physician, nurse and staff with daily patient care and access.
• Coordinate patient flow, schedules for appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• Provide accurate messages and charting in EMR as required.
• Assist in assessing nursing care and identify improvements with supervisors.
• Follow triage protocols via EMR to guide patient care.
• Maintain professional, courteous communication with patients and families.
• Cover for other office staff during absences or heavy workloads.
