Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients in our clinic environment.

The LPN will work under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician and join a health care team to assess needs and implement interventions. The role requires a Postsecondary certificate or an associate degree in nursing and current Arkansas licensure, with prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• General nursing knowledge and health care terminology.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• Current Arkansas state licensure required.

Aufgaben

• Administers medications or starts intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients’ charts.
• Observes patients, charts, and reports changes in conditions and takes necessary actions.
• Answers patients' calls and determines how to assist them.
• Measures and records patients’ vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Provides basic patient care or treatments (temperatures, BP, wound care, bedsores, enema/douche, alcohol rub, massage, catheterization).
• Works as part of a health care team to assess patient needs, plans and modifies care, and implements interventions.
• Records food and fluid intake and output.
