Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring for a full-time clinical assistant role in a physician's clinic. You will coordinate patient care, collect vitals, and support physicians during examinations and procedures in a team-centered environment.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, basic lab tasks, medication inquiries, and insurance authorizations, all while following safety protocols and PPE guidelines to protect patients and staff. A valid LPN license and CPR/BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with CPR/BLS certification.
• 1+ position related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with routine medical equipment and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient-focused care in a physician's clinic.
• Take vitals, perform intake, and document patient information.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and office procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests as required.
• Handle medication questions, refill calls, and insurance authorizations.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines and proper PPE usage.
