Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Central KY Surgeons clinic on a full-time, 1st shift basis. Under supervision, you will provide nursing care, support physicians, and contribute to patient flow and clinic efficiency.

The role requires an LPN license in Kentucky, BLS certification within three months, and at least three years of LPN experience preferred. A bonus eligibility and educational programs accompany the position.

Job Description

Under the supervision of Physician/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide quality nursing care for assigned patients. Demonstrates a commitment to professional accountability and growth to maintain and expand knowledge and skills. Contributes to the achievement of the mission and philosophy of the Organization. Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort

Works is performed in an office setting. Involves contact with patients. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and subject to interruption. Contact involves dealing with sick people. Work may require being in a stationary position for long periods of time; also moving or positioning for files and supplies. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier, and other such office equipment as necessary. It is necessary to view and type on computer screen for long periods and to work in an environment which can be very stressful. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently. A flexible work schedule is required.

Experience Required

Three (3) years LPN experience in clinical setting preferred.
