Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Long Term Care LPN to join our per diem nursing team in Boise, ID. You will assist the care team in delivering patient care in a LTC/assisted living setting, applying critical thinking and nursing judgment with supervision.

The role requires an active LPN license in the state, a current health certificate and BLS card, and adherence to Amergis background checks. Competitive pay at $48/hour with weekly pay and benefits upon eligible employment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) with a score of 80% or greater.
• Amergis Background Screening Process completed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the care team in delivering patient care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and coordination of patient care with supervision.
• Adhere to nursing standards and be accountable in managing patient care and assisting others.

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card

• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinicalspecialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater

• Successful completion of Amergis Background ScreeningProcess

• Must be at least 18 years of age
