Dept of Veterans Services at Puller Veterans Center in Virginia seeks an LPN - Charge Nurse for PRN/Part-Time placement. You will oversee the unit during shifts and deliver nursing care to residents, serving as a resource for staff and ensuring care aligns with facility policies.

This role requires an active Virginia LPN license and CPR certification upon hire (or willingness to obtain). Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience in long-term care is a plus, with compensation in the $33–$36

Job Duties

Responsible for overseeing the unit as a Charge Nurse and providing nursing care to patients/residents during shift. Serves as a resource to staff when needed. Maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objectives of the facility and be in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the facility’s administration and governing body.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a current Licensed Practical Nursing license in the state of Virginia.
• CPR certification required upon hire or willing to obtain.
• Previous experience working as a Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience working in a long-term care setting a plus.
