Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks a compassionate Day Shift LPN Charge Nurse to coordinate resident care and supervise nursing staff in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes leadership, safe, high-quality care, and effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing care for residents on the assigned unit

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team as a Day Shift Charge Nurse. This position is responsible for coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the assigned unit.

Day Shift LPN Charge Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing care for residents on the assigned unit

LPN Charge Nurse Qualifications

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Previous nursing experience preferred

• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred

• Ability to supervise and provide direction to nursing staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and complete assignments efficiently

• Ability to remain flexible and professional in a fast-paced healthcare environment
