Position Summary

Responsible for directing nursing care and supervising daily activities of nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and collaborating with leadership to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and manual respirators safely and effectively.
• Maintain emergency equipment supplies and perform routine calibration and cleaning of monitoring devices.
• Administer medications, including setup, documentation, and coordination with pharmacy.
• Assess patient directives, collect lab specimens, interpret results, and manage IV therapy.
• Handle patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Document care activities and communicate effectively with physicians and team members.
• Assist in care planning, MDS processes, and participate in patient screening and follow-up on recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact warmly and professionally with patients, families, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
