Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services in Florence, SC is seeking an experienced nurse to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.

The candidate must have a nursing degree, a current LPN/LVN license, and at least one year of hospital or long-term care experience, with the ability to work night shifts as a full-time team member.

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license to practice in this state.
• One year of experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care setting.

• To supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Assistant Director and Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

To supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Assistant Director and Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Key Qualifications

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved License Practical or Vocational Nurse program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a License Practical or Vocational Nurse in this state.
• One (1) year of experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
