Qualifications

Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
Check residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is properly administered
Keep the RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters
Implement changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses
Provide professional services as established by the facility’s policies and procedures
Complete all LPN record-keeping forms upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc.
