Qualifications

• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• A caring & loving personality and demeanor.

• The ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor residents daily to ensure treatment is properly administered.
• Keep the RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters.
• Implement changes as directed by supervisors.
• Provide professional nursing services as established by facility policies.
• Complete all required LPN record keeping forms and file in charts.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
• Investigate complaints and document findings for supervisors.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
• Adhere to facility policies and standards.
