Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to cover first and second shifts, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The role requires providing medical treatment and personal care to residents under state regulations and Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include administering meds, taking vital signs, and documenting in Yardi, with strong emphasis on resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state.
• Minimum six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents.
• Strong interpersonal and compassionate care.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and handle sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments; document accurately in EHR (Yardi).
• Take vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Assist with assessments, nursing calls, and incident reporting.
• Collect lab samples and follow up on results with residents and physicians.
• Prepare and check food trays per prescribed diets.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident rooms; respond to calls.
• Support and train staff as directed by HCC; ensure regulatory compliance.
