Job summary
Journey is seeking a Registered Nurse supervisor to oversee daily activities of RNs/LPNs and CNAs at our Tucker facility in Georgia. You will ensure regulatory compliance, participate in admissions/discharges, and monitor resident status to maintain high-quality care.
The role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional development. RN license and CPR certification are required; long-term care experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- RN license in practicing state required.
- CPR certification required.
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Direct supervision of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs.
Responsibilities
- Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants in accordance with current regulations and facility policies.
- Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel assigned.
- Participates in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
- Assesses changes in residents’ status, notifies physician and family, and documents accordingly.
- Transcribes physician orders to medical records and carries out orders as written.
