Job summary

South Shore Rehabilitation is seeking dedicated LPNs to join our Extended Care affiliated facility, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to our residents. As an LPN, you will supervise nursing assistants, document admissions/discharges, administer medications, and prioritize daily rounds in a fast-paced setting while upholding safety, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and visitors.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Energetic, professional, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
