• Responds to system-wide requests for behavioral health placement and processes referrals.
• Provides excellent customer service through telephone and in-person contact with physicians, nurses, administrators, and colleagues.
• Accommodates fluctuating variables in patient volume, acuity, and resources.
• Communicates clinical information to referring, admitting, and administrative staff; assists with transfer center calls and Epic tickets.
• Facilitates telemedicine consultations between campuses and providers; ensures workflow items are completed.
