• Coordinates transportation as a dispatcher.
• Responds to system-wide requests for psychiatric placement and submits evaluations for admission criteria.
• Provides customer service via telephone and in person to physicians, nurses, administrators, and colleagues.
• Manages fluctuating patient volume, acuity, and resource utilization.
• Communicates clinical information to referring and admitting providers and staff; assists with transfer center calls and Epic tickets.
• Facilitates telemedicine consultations between campuses and providers; ensures workflow items are completed.
• Assigns beds across campuses to ensure timely patient placement and bed availability.
• Performs other related duties as required.
