Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our inpatient team on day shift.

You will perform nursing care under the supervision of a RN, participate in care planning, and contribute to a collaborative patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited LPN program with an Oklahoma license, BLS certification, venipuncture skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in Oklahoma with BLS certification.
• Venipuncture skills and basic computer skills.
• One year of full-time or three years part-time acute care experience preferred.
• De-escalation training (TEAM) completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team with consideration of the developmental needs of the patient.
• Participates in the evaluation of the patient’s response to interventions based upon predicted outcome.
• Reassesses the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modifies the plan of care as needed.
• Contributes to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments of the patient.
• Collects data and compares the data collected to the patient’s previous condition and documents/reports as appropriate.
