Job summary

Qualifications

• LPN license required/held.
• Experience with basic nursing tasks preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic bedside care.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Measures and records vital signs.
• Assists with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Prepares and administers injections and enemas.
• Records input/output of foods and fluids.
• Dresses wounds and monitors healing.
• Assists with mobility and positioning.
• Collects samples for testing.
• Performs routine lab tests as directed.
• Records medications and reports adverse reactions.
• Participates in patient and family education.
• Documents care concisely and timely.
• Completes orientation and follows safety rules.
