Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation’s Evergreen Retirement Community in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Assisted Living unit. The position, listed as PT 7am–7pm with every other weekend, is described as full-time in job references and includes responsibilities around medication administration and resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license in Ohio, CPR certification, and 1+ year experience in senior care.

Qualifications

• Training from an accredited licensed practical nurse program.
• Area of Study: General nursing.
• Must have a Licensed Practical Nurse license and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in senior care or related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Assist with admissions, including assessments and documentation.
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• Track clinical data (e.g., wounds, infection control) under director guidance.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Notify physicians and/or families of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information.
• Discharge, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.
