Avenues Recovery Detox and Drug Rehab Center is hiring LPNs for all shifts in Covington, LA to provide quality medical care through admission, treatment and discharge. You will coordinate pharmacy needs, dispense medications, and keep precise med logs while collaborating with medical, clinical and utilization review teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current licensure to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
