Optum NV is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join the Adult Medicine team in Las Vegas, NV. This position focuses on patient care within our clinic setting and offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

You will perform duties such as collecting patient information, administering medications, coordinating with the RN, and supporting the care plan while adhering to clinic policies. No weekends, nights, or holidays.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current NV LPN license (or temporary NV license) with ability to obtain permanent NV LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 1+ years of clinical LPN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and document patient information including vital signs, medications, and assessments.
• Provide clinical interventions such as drug administration and treatments as ordered by provider.
• Assist with phone calls and messages and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with RN and team to plan and execute care.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory QC, crash cart, narcotic counts, and clinic requirements.

This LPN position is in adult medicine.
Location: 4475 S EASTERN, Las Vegas, NV
No weekends, nights or holidays.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

• Collection and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief compliant, review of medications, allergies health risk screen information, status of extended care benefits and other services
• Provide clinical intervention such as drug administration, treatments, and procedures as ordered by provider and within scope of practice
• Assist with phone calls and messages
• Determine best actions and collaborate with team to assign accountabilities to resolve
• Participate in monitoring patients with chronic disease and extended care benefits including verification of eligibility and status of services
• Anticipate provider needs for patient exam or treatment in collaboration with RN
• Assist RN with the coordination and completion of patient care plan
• Assist coworkers with duties when requested to include training of medical
• Assistants and assisting in areas as needed
• Compliance requirements such as laboratory QC management, waive testing, maintenance of crash cart and narcotic count as well as other requirements dictated by clinic needs
• Gather medical information as needed to present cases to ITDs as required
• Other responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current, unrestricted NV LPN license or temporary NV LPN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV LPN license upon expiration of temporary NV LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ years of clinical experience as a LPN

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electronic medical records (EMR) experience
• Immunization and injection experience
• Charge or leadership experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
