Job summary

Yellow Rock Behavioral Health, part of Acadia Healthcare, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time day/evening shifts at our 102-bed psychiatric residential facility for youth aged 11–17. Responsibilities include patient care, medication delivery, safety, and documentation, with a $5k sign-on bonus and rotating weekends.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN/LVN license, CPR and de-escalation certification, and have prior clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Provide nursing care according to the care plan and patient needs.
• Maintain patient safety and report status changes to RNs and doctors.
• Document patient symptoms, responses and progress thoroughly and accurately.
• Deliver medications safely in accordance with policies and physician orders.
