Job summary

Yellow Rock Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) at our 102-bed psychiatric residential facility serving youths aged 11–17. The role covers nursing care within the LPN/LVN scope, medication administration, and ongoing patient monitoring.

You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure patient safety and comfort. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and every other weekend rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Provide for the basic comfort of patient and implement care per plan of care.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies and physician orders.
• Document patient symptoms, responses and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet patient needs and address concerns.
• Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors and staff.
• Report status changes to registered nurses and doctors.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and safety.
