Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse by the state (or temporary license).
- Ability to apply therapeutic treatments as prescribed.
- Ability to follow exact oral and written instructions.
- Ability to keep records and make reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to standards.
- Direct, assist, observe and monitor nursing assistants on the unit.
- Administer medications after orientation and instruction.
- Maintain accurate medication records.
- Observe residents for signs/symptoms of adverse drug reactions.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized unit.
- Answer call lights as required.
- Perform related duties within scope of education.
