DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our residential treatment team. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support clients through the recovery process.

The role requires Ohio LPN licensure and strong teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient care. Experience in addiction treatment is preferred, with emphasis on HIPAA/OSHA compliance and thorough documentation.

Qualificações

• Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Understanding of addiction and its impact on individuals and families.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care and support to clients undergoing addiction treatment in a residential setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician or nurse practitioner.
• Monitor clients' vital signs and overall health status, reporting changes to the medical team.
• Assist with medical assessments, screenings, and intake processes for new clients.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and counselors to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and counsel clients on health management and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
