Job summary
DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the 7am-7pm full-time day shift in a residential addiction treatment setting. You will provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications under physician direction, monitor vitals, and support intake and medical assessments as part of an interdisciplinary team.
You'll educate clients on medication adherence, participate in care planning, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
- Team player with excellent communication.
- Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patients.
- Proficient with computer-based documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care in residential treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments under physician/NP direction.
- Monitor vitals and health status; flag concerns early.
- Support intake, screenings, and medical assessments for new clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on individualized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on medication adherence and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Contribute ideas in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
