Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply nursing process and deliver patient care under RN supervision. The LPN will uphold nursing standards and play a key role in managing patient care across adult and pediatric homecare settings.

We offer flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts, weekly pay, referral bonuses, skills train up programs, and a great team to work with. Shifts include Day, Evening, Night, and Weekends in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
