Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Parma, Ohio is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under RN supervision. The LPN will assess and manage patient care in a homecare setting for both adult and pediatric patients.

Shifts include Day, Evening, Night and Weekends with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. Active Ohio LPN license, current health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, and BLS are required; full time, part time, and PRN options are available.

Qualifications

• Current LPN License in the state where the LPN practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Other Licensed Practical Nurse duties as assigned.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Salary: $25 - $35 / per hour
