Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home nursing care to an adult patient. The position features Saturday through Monday 7a-7p shifts, with day and night options available.

The role emphasizes comprehensive care within the patient’s home environment and requires current licensure and BLS. Competitive compensation includes Health, Dental, Vision, HSA and Life Insurance, a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• TB test or chest X-ray is current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms for physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
