Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The position offers per diem shifts with immediate pay options and a potential hiring bonus after completing two shifts.

We provide competitive pay in the $37-$39/hour range, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling. Local staffing coordinators are available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM to support our Per Diem staff.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• PPD (TB test) within last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
