Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate care with the healthcare team in a per diem capacity.

We offer per diem positions with flexible scheduling, same-day or next-day pay, and a potential signing bonus after completing two shifts. Local applicants preferred and full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license and ability to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
