Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

This per diem role offers $37-$39/hour with same-day or next-day pay via RapidPay, plus weekly pay and flexible scheduling. Local applicants are preferred and full-time hours may be available. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and support diverse healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
