Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Flexible scheduling and per diem opportunities provide variety and expedited pay options.

Competitive pay: $37-$39/hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay via RapidPay. Requirements include an active LPN license, a minimum of 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a PPD within the last year. Local applicants only; EOE.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
