Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Immediate start options and flexible scheduling are available, with same-day or next-day pay through RapidPay Card.

Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and a TB test (PPD) within the last year. Per diem shifts offer competitive pay and local staffing coordinators to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (tuberculosis test) within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
