Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling with competitive pay and daily pay options.

We value reliable, compassionate LPNs with active licenses, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of facility experience. PPD within the last year is required; the role includes medication administration, wound care, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD (tuberculin skin test) within the last year.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
