Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and support facility operations.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, documenting patient information, wound care, monitoring patient changes, and coordinating care with nurses, physicians and other providers.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
