Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for 0.5 FTE on the 2 pm–10 pm shift at Watkins Manor in Winona, MN. You will provide nursing care, educate residents and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The position includes supervision of unlicensed staff, accurate documentation, and taking RN charge after hours when needed. Equal opportunity employer. Sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 12 Continuing Education Credits/2 years required.
• CPR Certification required.
• LPN License - MN.
• Basic computer skills (Word) and familiarity with patient information databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
• Document resident care, medication information, and changes in condition accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise unlicensed staff and delegate duties with effective communication.
• Assume nurse charge responsibilities after hours, on weekends, and when an RN is unavailable.
