Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. The role requires assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity and dietary.
• Contribute to the assessment of residents and collaborate with the care team.
• Counsel residents, family members on prevention and treatment plans.
