Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking STAT LPNs to support high-skilled in-home nursing for new admissions across Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties.

As a STAT LPN, you’ll provide initial 4-6 weeks of skilled home care, travel to client homes, and work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend commitment. BAYADA offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven, patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Nursing license in good standing.
• CPR Certified.
• Willingness to work across Morris, Sussex, & Warren Counties.
• Willingness to work with all ages; Infant through Geriatric.
• Willingness to work in all private duty settings; In-Home & In-School.
• One year of LPN experience.
• Hands-on tracheostomy and ventilator experience with infants, pediatrics, and adults.
• Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week.
• Commitment to work one weekend per month

Responsibilities

• Provide initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care to new admission clients.

• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with Clinical Managers to meet care plans.

Private Duty LPN STAT Opportunities throughout Morris, Sussex, & Warren County, NJ

As a STAT LPN with BAYADA, you'll have the opportunity to become part of our highest skilled nursing team, helping clients as they transition home from the hospital and filling last-minute openings. You'll be the first friendly face that puts new admission clients at ease right from the start. With your meaningful experience caring for people of all ages and acuity levels, you're ideally suited to provide the initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care. Working closely with your Clinical Managers, you'll ensure each client's needs are met according to their care plan, all while delivering personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home.

STAT LPN Hourly Rate Range - $40.00 - $45.00

• Training Rate - $30.00/hour
• On-Going Case - $40.00/hour
• New Admissions - $43.00/hour
• Peer Precepting - $42.00 - $45.00/hour

What to Expect As A STAT Nurse

STAT nurses get paired with a new admission client and stay with that client on a consistent schedule for about one to one-and-a-half months. After completing this initial care period, you'll be matched with your next client. We offer traditional 12-hour shift options, focusing on hands-on care with one client. Clients' ages range from infants to the elderly, with acuity requirements varying from basic care to complex needs such as trach and vent care. You'll travel to your client's home, stay there for the full shift, and follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring clients' conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations—all vital to providing top-quality care.
