Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking STAT LPNs to join our skilled nursing team serving Hudson, Bergen and Passaic counties. You’ll start with new admissions and provide 4–6 weeks of skilled care in clients’ homes, building trust on day one.

You’ll travel to each client’s home, stay for full 12-hour shifts, document orders, assess conditions, and coordinate with Clinical Managers to meet each care plan.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Willingness to work across Hudson, Bergen and Passaic counties.
• One year of skilled nursing experience.
• Hands-on infant, pediatric and adult tracheostomy and ventilator care.
• Commitment to at least two 12-hour shifts per week and to one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide hands-on skilled care for 4–6 weeks during initial admissions.
• Follow care plans, document orders, and monitor client conditions during shifts.
• Perform assessments, document observations and evaluations, and communicate with Clinical Managers.

Private Duty LPN STAT Opportunities throughout Hudson, Bergen, & Passaic Counties

As a STAT LPN with BAYADA, you'll have the opportunity to become part of our highest skilled nursing team, helping clients as they transition home from the hospital and filling last-minute openings. You'll be the first friendly face that puts new admission clients at ease right from the start. With your meaningful experience caring for people of all ages and acuity levels, you're ideally suited to provide the initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care. Working closely with your Clinical Managers, you'll ensure each client's needs are met according to their care plan, all while delivering personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home.

STAT LPN Hourly Rate Range - $40.00 - $45.00

• Training Rate - $30.00/hour
• On-Going Case - $40.00/hour
• New Admissions - $43.00/hour
• Peer Precepting - $42.00 - $45.00/hour

Qualifications for STAT LPNs :

• Active New Jersey LPN license in good standing
• CPR Certified
• Willingness to work across market service area (Hudson, Bergen, & Passaic County)
• One year of skilled nursing experience
• Hands-on infant, pediatric, and adult tracheostomy and ventilator experience
• Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week
• Commitment to work one weekend per month

What to Expect As A STAT Nurse

STAT nurses get paired with a new admission client and stay with that client on a consistent schedule for about one to one-and-a-half months. After completing this initial care period, you'll be matched with your next client. We offer traditional 12-hour shift options, focusing on hands-on care with one client. Clients’ ages range from infants to the elderly, with acuity requirements varying from basic care to complex needs such as trach and vent care. You’ll travel to your client's home, stay there for the full shift, and follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring clients’ conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations—all vital to providing top-quality care.
