Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking STAT LPNs to support patients throughout Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties in New Jersey. You will join a high‑skilled nursing team for 4–6 weeks with patients transitioning from hospital to home, delivering one‑on‑one care and documenting orders precisely.

Responsibilities include assessments, condition monitoring, and post‑shift reporting. Shifts are 12‑hour blocks, with weekend requirements and travel to homes across multiple counties.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Nursing license in good standing.
• CPR Certified.
• Willingness to work across Morris, Sussex, & Warren Counties.
• Willingness to work with all ages; Infant through Geriatric.
• One year of RN experience.
• Hands-on tracheostomy and ventilator experience with infants, pediatrics, and adults.
• Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week.
• Commitment to work one weekend per month.

• Assess, monitor, and document clients' conditions and progress.
• Provide hands-on nursing care in home settings.
• Follow doctors' orders and ensure care plans are executed accurately.

Private Duty LPN STAT Opportunities throughout Morris, Sussex, & Warren County, NJ

As a STAT LPN with BAYADA, you'll have the opportunity to become part of our highest skilled nursing team, helping clients as they transition home from the hospital and filling last‑minute openings. You'll be the first friendly face that puts new admission clients at ease right from the start. With your meaningful experience caring for people of all ages and acuity levels, you're ideally suited to provide the initial 4‑6 weeks of skilled nursing care. Working closely with your Clinical Managers, you'll ensure each client's needs are met according to their care plan, all while delivering personalized one‑on‑one nursing attention at home.

STAT LPN Hourly Rate Range

• Training Rate – $30.00/hour
• On‑Going Case – $40.00/hour
• New Admissions – $43.00/hour
• Peer Precepting – $42.00 ‑ $45.00/hour

Qualifications for STAT Nurses

What to Expect As A STAT Nurse

STAT nurses get paired with a new admission client and stay with that client on a consistent schedule for about one to one‑and‑a‑half months. After completing this initial care period, you'll be matched with your next client. We offer traditional 12‑hour shift options, focusing on hands‑on care with one client. Clients’ ages range from infants to the elderly, with acuity requirements varying from basic care to complex needs such as trach and vent care. You’ll travel to your client's home, stay there for the full shift, and follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring clients’ conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations—all vital to providing top‑quality care.
