Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide skilled nursing care on assignment in the Memphis area. The role involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, following prescribed orders and ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license, current TB or Chest X-Ray, and a current BLS card; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
