Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pilger, Nebraska is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled pediatric home health care. This full-time overnight role involves applying the nursing process to assess and care for a young patient in the home setting, following physician orders and care plans.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of 34 per hour, weekly pay, health and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, PTO and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
