Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Clinton, Iowa to work with pediatric patients in their own home. Part-time days available with competitive pay.

The role requires an LPN license active in the state, current TB/Chest X-ray and BLS, with preference for 1 year of nursing experience. Home health pediatrics experience is a plus, and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray is current.
• BLS certification is current.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
