Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver in-home pediatric care for patients in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The role provides skilled nursing services in the patients' own homes, following prescribed orders and using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Available shifts include Part Time/Full Time Days and Overnights, with Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (8a-8p) and PRN weekends, and a competitive hourly wage with weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN licensure in the state where practicing.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
