Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric patients in their own home in Glenwood, Iowa. The role offers hourly pay and weekly paychecks with comprehensive benefits.

The position requires current LPN/LVN license in the state, current TB or Chest X-Ray, and a current BLS card; one year of nursing experience is preferred. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with responsive support from Maxim.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.
