Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Fort Dodge, Iowa seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide pediatric home health care under prescribed orders. This role offers part-time, full-time, day and overnight shifts with weekly pay and competitive hourly pay.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, document nursing diagnoses, and monitor patients’ conditions, collaborating with families and care teams in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

Available shifts

• Part Time/ Full Time Days and Overnights
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8a-8p)
• PRN Weekends

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
